Hello,
I've just bought a 200 naked SV650, and i saw a blue hugger on eBay, and i just wondered if anyone knew if they are easy to fit? I e-mailed the guy selling it and he said it doesn't come with any instructions or fixings - just the hugger its self. Would it just use the nuts that hold the wheels on or something? Any help would be greatly appreciated, and would earn you a beer if u're ever in ely. Here is a link to the e-bay item - please don't bid on it ![]() ![]() http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1 |

Its a 10 minute at max job.
Undo the chain guard and also you need to undo the bolt that hold the little black plastic flap on that sits on the swing arm in front of the rear shock. On the RHS where the rear brake hose is, is another bolt holding down the brakcet that secures the brake hose. Undo that to. Pop the hugger onto the bike and line all the holes up and use then bolt the hugger back on using the original bolts. Before you tighten it all up, make sure the hugger isnt rubbing on the rear wheel, when your happy tighten everything up. Obviously, it might vary depending on the hugger, but thats what I did to fit my NWS one to my K1 SVS. HTH

Only one bidder on it so far, user name of Adburn. Does that sound like a knob faced knobster that we know?
Fitting a hugger is really easy. once you offer the part up to the rear it all becomes clear. |
