I bought a Fenda Extenda from P.A. Motorcycles (Ashbourne, Derbyshire)ebay store a few weeks ago. Still no item or reply to any emails.
Googled them and they have their own website with a phone number but they don't answer the phone. Avoid them! |

Ebay canbe a right P155ER at times for this. I have lost count of the number of times this has happened to me with various stuff.
9/10 it does turn up eventually, albeit very late and sometimes totally the wrong item. A major pitfall of internet shopping. |

I bought some brakelines from a shop on ebay- paid via paypal, and they took a couple of weeks to come. Thought there was something wrong with the seller, but after checking the paypal records saw that my payment had been sent via an e-cheque which took ages for it to clear (Don't know how or why it did that, as everything else i've paid for on paypal- the funds get instantly transferred).
Could try checking that? |

I've checked the Paypal transaction and it was an instant transfer. The guys feedback is a bit worrying, anyone who complains get nsaty neg feedback even if they don't leave it for him.
Have rung the number on his website for several days but no answer, found another number and that says mailbox full. Sounds dodgy to me. If there was a genuine problem he would email surely? |

I will also put in my two penneth's worth in support of the Post Office.
I've only ever had two things go completely missing, and both were in the pre-Christmas rush when temp employees are at their highest. The rest of the year I've never had anything go walkies. I've had a couple of items come back to me as undelivered - poss. no card was left and the person never knew to pick it up from the sorting office. But each time they've been re-sent they've arrived in the end. It's bad about the negative feedback left for those who complain - that's just holding your reputation for ransom. That said - many who check out thier buyer/seller will track such a negative to the source and see the pattern - hopefully realising it was not a genuine reflection on you as a buyer. I guess it depends how much you want that particular item - or whether you would now prefer to go elsewhere. If the latter then report it to eBay as 'unreceived' and try to get you money back. |

I have an ebay shop and I list my phone number so people can get in touch if they have any worries or queries. Its a jungle out there but with a few basic checks its a way to get yourself some real bargains. I too will champion the post office. I post upwards of 30 things a week all over the world and (touch wood) have yet to have anything go missing. I am sorry to hear you've been fritzed though, there is nothing more annoying..... G |
