Default Sore backside

Well I popped down to London this weekend , and came home again , and needless to say , my a$$ is killing me from being on the SV . I`ve had a look online at these Suzuki Gel Seats but here`s the problem .............. I have a K3 and these seats only appear to be for the K4 onwards , any advice anyone on whether there is one for the K3 ?

So the standard seat is uncomfortable then...bugger; I have a thinned out seat on mine and was aiming to buy a standard seat for it as my derrier gets sore after 2 to 3 hours.
Mines also a k3 so can i join with asking the same question re gel seats?

Cheers.

You can get them recovered with either proper foam or gelpads, probably cheaper than a replacement

I got some custom seats(bagster)a couple of weeks back and the ad said to fit k3/k7 so bought them for my k3.No probs with the pillion seat but on the riders seat the moulded bit under the seat was about 1/2 inch to short to bolt the seat to the bike,so all i did was get a thin/strong peice of metal and drilled some holes in it(an extension if you like)and it now fits fine. HTH

In my experience they quote the K4+ because there are late registered curveys that are registered K3 so they need to be sure that they are pointing the sale at an injection model so use K4 to be sure. If you have an injected K3 then the K4+ stuff will fit.

The K3 has a higher subframe, so it's quite possible it's a different seat entirely.
