Chain length
I'm in need of a new chain and sprockets in the near future and as it's rare I do major M way work I'm thinking of changing the sprockets for a bit more poke.
My plan at the minute is 14/47 which seems to be equal to 13/44 but with less stress on the chain and should give better acceleration without totally killing my top end. My question is what length chain will that need? I've had a look at some calculators and the seem to come out with 110 links over the standard 108 on the S. Does that sound about right? |

Re: Chain length
The naked runs 15/45 and has a 110 link chain. So from there you're down one at the front and up 2 at the back - effectively 1 tooth longer.
I haven't tried it but i'd imagine that's well within the available adjustment. You could always buy 112 and chop a bit off if it's too long. Nothing a Dremel won't handle.
