Three days in the Rhinogydd
A bunch of six of us from three different canicross groups had the best part of three days hiking and wildcamping with dogs in the Rhinogydd. We hiked from Harlech to Abermaw, just about 23 miles on the route we took, and around 5700ft of elevation.
A few pictures. The first wildcamp site, taken on a recce I did the week before the hike. Various pictures taken on the way, some by me and some by others in the group. Second night wildcamp site. My daughter Eleri, who came with us. The final part of the ascent of y Llethr |

Re: Three days in the Rhinogydd
Ha ha! We were all pretty windswept on the Saturday. The wind was so strong (45 - 60mph gusts) that we ended up delaying our ascent of y Llethr as it was just too dangerous. We camped by the lake, Llyn Hywel, at the foot of y Llethr and the next morning the wind had dropped to nothing.

That's a shame Bibs. As I get ever closer to 70, I become more determined to keep up this type of activity, and the running, for as long as I can.
