Default New Front Indicator Unit - Help Required.

After my off I need a new front indicator unit, which is a stock item at most motorbike shops, so no problem getting one.

All I would like to know is how easy are they to fit, even for a spaz like me?

Obviously if it can be done with broken fingers then so much the better, but I am a total novice and not that adept at using any tools.

It took me two and a half years to fit the brighter headlights (well it felt that long).

If it's difficulty level could be compared to fitting a hugger that would be useful.

unscrew the little triangle on the "dashborad" (there should just be the one screw then pull it out) then you should be able to get in, unplug the indicator cable, unscrew the indicator, pull it out, put in new one, screw it in, plug the cables in, re-scew in the black triangle thingy... stand back and marvel at your 5 mins of work

The lense has dissappeared, but I have the old orange ones so no problem, bulb gone, again I have the old clear ones so no problem. It's just the stalk/unit that I require as it has broken off most of the hard plastic around the bulb fixing so a lense cannot be attached.

I've replaced both front indicators on different occasions and never had to unscrew those panels (K4). It's a squeeze but you can unplug the existing light and stick the new one in quite easily. Got to be one of the easiest repairs on the SV. An SV1000 indicator will also slot straight in.
