"[Tony Blair] is a man who takes a Bible with him wherever he goes and last thing at night he will read from the Bible."

Now i'm all for people being free to express their faith, without infringing on people who don't choose to believe the same thing you do, but if you need an example of why religion and state should be separate you only need look at america today

Nothing changes---Christian -v - Infidel, You think we would have learned by now.
The Middle East has been a bed of conflict before the begining of Christianity so maybe that is a bit unfair. We have discussed mentality regarding our Middle East brethern before but perhaps we should look at our own house first

I love the fact that both he and monkey-face bush have both said this at various times.

"God spoke to me" said Bush. Seems God told him to send his troops to kill for no good reason whatsoever.

now try using that as a defence in a court of law for killing or sending someone to kill on your behalf.
Most countries in the world would lock you up there and then for being out of your tiny little mind, yet world leaders are apparently closer to God than any bishop or pope is and they can make these claims and be left untouched.

It is genius though, Blair says "I kept it to myself because everyone would say I'm a nutter". Half of the press slate him for keeping it to himself, the other half slate him for being a religious nutter

Think it's all a matter of degrees, you can be led by your faith and that's one thing, or, you can literally think you are on a mission from god, that's another. Not sure what side of the line Blair's on. But considering he wasn't even doing that well on the commandments...
