Default My new Girlfriend

Hi All,

New to the forum, have joined having bought a new SV650s in Black. Love the bike, shame the weather is hamperin my fun.....

Now that the SV has the twin plugs, does this increase it's BHP from 68, or do the twin plugs just help with emissions?

Nice ride. Don't know if you are joking, but, no not more power or not significant. Better at burning more of the fuel, less waste, but, less emissions I believe. Get on yer waterproofs!!!!!

No not joking. Well not about the power thing. I have noticed that the bike has a bit of a drink problem, around 40/43 to the gallon. But hay at 0-60 in 3.4s I can live with it. Don't mind getting wet, but I am a new rider and find the road a little slippy for my limited experiance.

Only messin'. Slow, easy and attentive. If you are already on this site, it looks as if you've caught the bug full force. It's a load of fun, be careful now.

I'd also say you'd need less advance at high revs as the flame won't have to propagate as far.
