Default Another Dilemma for today...

My wife (Mrs Richie) has been sent one of those Remote Control Helicopters by a person in Bury. They sell for about £15 on fleebay...
the thing is we don't know the person who sent it, and no one else has rung up to say "Have you received the helicopter we got the kids for xmas"
So I have the senders name & address.... and I think I might have worked out his ebay name...ie a person who sells the small toys in Bury. The parcel was addressed correctly to my mrs, I've checked her ebay account and my account and have never purchased anything from anybody from the Bury area.

Do I email him/her and ask who bought it to send it to us ?
Do I keep it ?
Do I send it back at my expence of postage ?

I'd be more worried about how he got your address details actually.

Was it addressed with her full name? Sounds a bit iffy. Maybe someone is spying on you and wanted to get a bug into the house...?

I'd e-mail asking for the intended owner's address, forward it & add a note to it explaining why it was coming from you.

After all, it is the time of year for this sort of thing If it was me (and I'm not generally a goody-goody) the satisfaction from thinking someone was really grateful for a bit of honesty/got the toy for their kid would be far more valuable than a £15 toy that would end up gathering dust after too long.

it would be cool to keep it and play it, but the idea of emailing them sounds like a good one- abit of good ol english shivellry

those helicopters rule! I've got one.

Flew it round the house for weeks when I first got it.....don't use it now.

Be honest.

Makes it sound like a husband trying to track down the soon-to-be-in-serious-trouble bloke who's trying it on with the mrs!
