My middle daughter is at Lincoln Uni and she loves the city. I used to go there with friends when I lived in Worksop and found it one of the friendliest places in UK to go out for the night.

I used to live in Coningsby. Loved it. Wonderful roads up that way. As a consequence, lots of bike accidents too. As a consequence of that, a hell of a lot of speed cameras on the nicest roads.
Employment is not that hot, so I hope you already have a job to go to. I'd say pay is not as good as it is in the south either. So again, I hope you have a job to go to. Lincoln itself is OK but I wasn't massively impressed with it. For proper good shopping trips we used to go to either Nottingham or Sheffield. |

I've been living in Lincoln for 16 months now and I think Lincoln is really good (moved from Farnham to Lincoln). The roads are really nice and you can give the SV a good blast. Summer you can take a quick 40 mile ride to Skegness - MCN have the anual bash there. Wednesday bike meeting are great too, different location each week

I wonder if she knows our friend Sarah who is studying there and has a GPZ and an R1?

My parents had a house in Coningsby. I used to love it there as I could watch the Tornado's

I used to have to go to our Lincoln office on a regular basis and found the road into Lincoln I used (A57) a right pain when it crys out to be used properly and there is some numpty doing 50 in front of you. and in this age having to pay a toll bridge is arcane
The companies guest house was in a part called Lindum and it seemed to be a nice quite part of the town yet not too far from the town centre
