Ducati 848

Hi anyone think this is rather good. Poor quality sound, but what's the general opinion on the 848?

Yep I will take one of those when they replace it and the price crashes. I like it, I like it a lot.

I like it in white. At one point or other I was lookiing to buy a 916, but things fell through given the colour was not as red as it should have been on all the panels and there is only one dealership in Scotland.

It was reviewed in the Telegraph on Saturday and Kevin Ash described it as a beginers superbike, or along those lines. I can't quite see how he can sumarise it as that given the BHP is 138 or something. The way I see it if he says that about the bike it will be excelent as a road bike as the SV 650 is often described as a beginers bike and I know it's far more than that.

Take your point about the price. Is it my imagination are all bikes getting priced to be sub 10 k, and only just at that.
