Smile Baffle for my Race can

I got this yesterday and although fitting it isnt a problem, the question i have is that if it is BS stamped does that make my can road legal? or is it to say its noise is 98db or lower?
the can its self doesnt have the E mark in a triangle on the can!

Tones the thunder down quite alot, cost all of £9.00 (-delivery) takes 30 secs to install, but you have to drill your zauhst end for the bolt to secure it in

I see how you have installed yours now, you see my can has the bent snorkel at the end so i am going to have to bodge it in, still wondering if the BS makes it road legal?

I use mine once every year to pass the MOT. My can has no BS stamp, insert has it tho, so if you get any hassle unbolt it and show them the stamp (you cant really see it while fitted). Never been a problem for me tho.

Also my can has the same kind of bent exit pipe. The only way I could make it fit in was to cut the baffle down to half length. Oh, what a shame i thought to myself... it seems a little louder again.

lyle i got one for my stubby today and had the same problem as you with the length so I chopped an inch and a half off it and it fits neat now-the noise was disapointing but i'm gonna knock two of the flaps back out and see how it sounds-didn't want to put a baffle back in but finished at half four the other morning and was met by my road traffic colleagues on my way home-no baffle on the stubby and my show bulbs in the tail light= not to happy traffic cops.
