Default gadget question.

I had to go to the doctors surgery today and as is normal had to sit and wait for some time, I was wondering I have a couple of books in PDF format on usb flash drives, what would be the smallest cheapest way to veiw these without having a laptop with me ?

is there something out there that'll take a USB drive and display PDF's ?

Cheers Mark.

HP IPAQ will do the job, though I dont think they have a USB host, so you'd have to upload first.

This can be done on a Sony PSP, tho needs a bit of fiddling with - let me look in my box of old-tech bits, I may have a Sharp Zaurus you can borrow for these purposes.

Cheers Dave, dug out an old palm pilot pro, not sure it works or whether is of any use, charging the batteries now.

Might see if my phone can support them as well, but need to get to a pc pstairs for that, so maybe a while.

Cheers Mark.

That's for the Loan Dave, just loaded on my books, screens big enough to view without problem, works brilliantly.

Cheers Mark.

No problems Mark, couldn't find the Zaurus in the end - well not the one I was thinking of loaning you.

Decided the spare PSP would be better as it has a bigger screem anyway

Also with MotoGP and Wipe-out Pure loaded on it, you can keep your hand in on your "Mad Speed Skillz"
