Default Pure track tyres

I am looking for a set of track tyres, I have been recomened pirelli supercorsa's but is there any cheaper options with similar levels of grip. These tires will also be my getting used to trackbike ones so I might not need the grippiest option possible.

Also wets whats are good for the sv?

And what should I be expecting to pay?

Cheers

Rennsports are on offer in a few places and they should suit. I belive they are going for around £130 a pair and less.

Had a set on the SV back in 2003, the rear lasted one trackday and 1800 miles, so be warned, you aren't going to get much out of them.

Cheers Mark.

I didn't think racetecs came in SV650 sizes, Only the M3?

They don't list the 208's in SV650 sizes either. But they do in the Pilots on the Specials page
Rennsports:

Woosters in Leeds are doing Rennsports cheap too.

Lots more info here:
