Hi
I've been thinking about stubbying my exhaust as it's old and scratched now, and I'd love an even louder sound! Before I do it though I wanted to know if it will affect my bike's performance or fuel economy at all. I know from experience that having no exhaust at all is bad for performance, but will stubbying make a difference? Thanks, Larry. |

Not a lot of difference is the answer. You may loose a little top end compression (power) but unless your racing, I'd say you'd be hard pushed to notice.

Shouldn't make much difference, a lot of members are running stubbys nowadays.
