Default Honda out of '08 TT

From British Dealer News (trade journal):

Honda have admitted that it is reducing its promotional and racing
involvement in the Isle of Man TT festival for 2008, although the company
says it will probably be making a bigger effort in the following year.
Honda Day on Mad Sunday, which has been held in Peel for the past few
years, will not take place, there may be an issue over the brand's
traditional supply of motorcycles for travelling marshals and there will
be no official Honda race team.

I'll bet John McGuinness is spitting feathers.

Bit of an downer. Might make for a bit of entertainment having the TMs running round the course though Might make some of the racing a bit closer too, especially if Moly can't have an endless supply of engines to blow up.
