Default Grip Replacement

Hey guys,

I have somewhat of a newb question. I am interested in replacing the grips on my SV. I really like these Rizoma Billet Grips. Just curious if the SVs stock handlebars are 22 mm?

Are grip replacements difficult? The throttle cable, etc scare me...

Thanks,

Mitch

Really like those Mitch, I'll have to see if they do them over here, Oh and yes standard bars are 22mm.

Cheers Mark.

reading the write up you get 4 different cams ( the black bit the cables fit into) just choose the one nearest your original one and it should be a straight swap, nothing difficult to it.

As I won't be buying these for a few months, mainly because it'll take longer than that to get to a point where I can ride the Speed Triple, So if you do get them let me know what you think, quality and that sort of thing, I've got a couple of fairings from Rizoma and a set of mirrors and they are all very good quality, so would expect the same here, but be nice to know.

Cheers Mark.

Hey Rictus,

I think the second grips you posted are with the old gel grip? I am pretty sure anyways.

I hope to buy these, I'll let you know how it goes.

Mitch
