OEM SV1000S rear hugger on SV650S
Hi,
Just wondering if an OEM Suzuki SV1000S rear hugger part #990D0-16G83-YHG can fit my 650S. Suzuki Canada stoped selling my part. Cheers Tony

I'd guess it's unlikely
The SV1000 is a very different bike from the 650 - they look the same, but underneath it's a lot different. The rear tyre is a wider profile, and I think the thou swingarm is longer, and I seem to remember that there is a difference between the S and Naked models as well - I ordered a Suzuki hugger and it didn't fit as the mounting holes were in a different place to the mounting lugs, so back it went. |
