Default Can anyone recommend a good Mech near Slough?

Hi Guys,

As the title suggests...can anyone recommend a good mechanic/garage to do my 15k service in or near slough? I dont fancy using GW who I got the bike from as I dont trust 'em TBH, being that both my experiences with them have been pretty bad. I'm not worried about getting a dealer stamp as the bike has zero service history anyway (unless having partial history would be beneficial?) I DID think about going to West London Suzuki near heathrow but was just wondering if anyone else had any ideas?

Any suggestions would really help

Thanks

Try Berkshire motorcycles in Slough (01753) 524442. Ski, the mech' there is one of the best I've come across (and I've met a lot!). Make sure he does the service and you won't go far wrong.

Will ring around a few places today if I get a chance, anyone had any experiences with Reliance Autos in slough round the corner from GW? I used them a year or so ago for an mot on the previous SV and they seemed ok but wasnt sure about a major service.

Well suprised at that mate!

Like I said though, make sure Ski does the work Has done loads for me and always good (I'm a real pedant when it comes to the bike BTW). Can't speak for any other mech' there.

I've just rung Berkshire and they gave me a price of £240 plus parts.......
At that price I thing George White are looking favourites at £299 all in as I have had the rest of the work carried out by them.

I'm torn now between GW and WLS - GW is 'all in' and WLS is £250 for labour alone. WLS have said that they would call me ONLY IF they needed to change spark plugs/oil/etc and if they DID need changing I could swap those myself? what to do what to do????????

I know somewhere in Taplow, near the station, but not PDQ. My mate recently had his GSXR serviced there. Have you had yours done yet, or shall I get details of them to you?
