I've only heard good stuff about White Dalton - they're motorcycle specialists and all ride bikes themselves.

I know its not much hekp, put I took that out with my insurance, in the hope I will never need it, on the plus side it covers my gear if its not fault up to £1000. Hope you get it sorted.

You are going to struggle to find a solicitor to deal with a claim without injury unless you are agreing to pay their costs in full. The reason is that a property damage claim needs to be over £5k for them to recover costs from the other party. Whereas an injury claim only needs to be over £1k, which most are.
You are going to be looking at £100plus an hour if you want to instruct someone on a private basis and these costs are not re-claimable from the responsible party. Do you not have legal expenses cover on you insurance policy? |

Thats the best thing you can do mate. Just get on to them directly. make sure you get as much evidence as you can. You will need photos of your damaged kit, and don't dispose of it until they have paid you or told you you can. Any original receipts or credit card statements may help aswell as quotes for replacement gear.
I used to work for a personal injury solicitors and now for an insurance company so if you need any advice shoot me a pm and i'll see if I can help. |

Why, assuming this is a non-fault claim, aren't you just claiming off the third party for un-insured losses?
