I know SV650's have quite a rumble of backfires off them especially with an aftermarket can, but i was wonderin how i cud make my curvy backfire more, thers somethin really impressive about a bike that pops n spits blue flames haha, i know if i put a small washer into the exhaust mounting then there would be a space for it to suck air in which creates a backfire, my main question though is are backfires likely to cause any problems to the end can as i had a 110cc midi moto 4 stroke that blew oneof its underseat mufflers off with backfiring!!!!

hold in the clutch, rev the bike, then flick the kill switch on and off.
i had no end of fun doing this on my SV. dunno if it does any harm. and i dont think its very safe to do while riding |

hahaha awesome!! i look forward to trying this out
![]() i cant see it doing any harm to a well made basically straight thru endcan anyway, the midimoto was an attempt at a baffle and it was poorly welded (in china wouldnt you know) so its no wonder it blew the rusty thing to bits, still a legend wee bike tho i cud get my knee down n scrape the pegs no sweat round a track doin up to 65mph |
