Default SV650s top half of fairing

Does it all come out as one, as in the fairing, plus dash, lights, and the black plastic all around the inside?

Or does it come apart in bits?

Thanks

Easier to remove the inner shroud and part strip it while it's on the bike, leaving the bracket in place, mainly because the wiring plug is a bugger to reach while it's all together.

yup impossible to do as kwak said IMHO tried to at trackday
you remove the fairing, airscoop underneath & headlights as one (after unplugging. & leave the frame, clocks & surround on the bike.

Once the screen and inner shroud are out you can reach in to undo the main plug on the bracket leaving the headlight and indicators all plugged in. Then remove the mirrors and the screw each side under the tank.

When taking the shroud off remember there is a screw holding it to the fairing inside each little cover panel behind the sidelights and a push stud fixing each side of the clocks. I find it easier to stand in front of the bike and roll it out of the way by moving the top up and towards the back of the bike, rolling it over the handlebars.

When taking the fairing off pull it forwards because there are two lugs on the headlight that locate in grommets in the fairing bracket. It's easy to snap these off if you're hamfisted.

Straightforward, just remember to label/categorise the bolts and screws so you know where they all go.
