Default Cagiva Raptor 650:

Has anybody owned one of these? What are they like? Are they reliable, Italian electrics? Did they buy the engines from Suzuki or did Cagive produce them under license? Any info greatly appreciated.

have a scout around on here. Plenty of help there. Im Indoors has a V-Raptor1000. They are reliable once you've ironed out a couple of the probs that they have, I presume that its the same for the 650. Im Indoors goes under the name of carnivore on there. HTH

Worked on two of these, brillient little bike, the engine is standard SV (although played with I think as they are a little more powerful but not a lot), much better bouncy bits though, a pain to get the cagiva bits ( had to wait nearly 5 weeks for a footpeg hanger ).

But at the right price I'd have one.

Cheers Mark.

i have raptor 1000 and i love it. amanda m had a few problems with hers but will still say it was the best bike she has ridden.

its like a big sv but smaller (my feet can reach the ground, both feet flat, was tippy toe on sv)

i love it.

I could make a home for one of those... They can come along ridiculously cheap too, since everyone's nervous of them, but in most ways they just seem like a posher SV, or if you prefer a better Monster.
