650 Curvy Headlight efiierences K1-K2/3?

I'm doing up a damaged '99 650S and I've just purchased a replacement headlight unit but it must be off a K2/3 as its got 2 55w bulbs with one for dipped and the other for high beam. So, it doesn't fit my wiring loom so I was wondering if I need to put it back on Ebay or will the later headlamp sub-loom fit my main loom?

You've bought a Euro headlight, it will work if you rejig the wiring but will dip the wrong way and if checked will fail an MOT.

'X' ('99) - 'K2' ('02) are Curvy, 'K3' ('03) and on are Pointy and thus have entirely different lights.

It sounds like it could be a Euro light, is one of the lights a projector type looking thing? If so you'll just neeed the Euro bit of the sub loom, it clicks in and out of the main loom, finding one is the only issue. Or I'm sure a bit of handiwork with some wire you could knock your own up.

Beaten to it, although I think some people on here have the Euro Headlight and get through the MOT, but I'm not certain.
