They all suck in different ways but the result is always the same. I want to punch the living cr*p out of everybody else in the supermarket approximately 10 to 15 minutes after entering one.
I f*cking hate food shopping.

Tesco because it's within cycling distance. There's a Waitrose 3 miles away and I've never been arsed to go there. If the local Tesco was a Sainsburys or Morrisons they'd be my favourites instead.
Basically I'm a lazy sod. |

Waitrose purely because its never 'gridlocked' and it attracts a higher calibre of customer. Its not that i want to spend my time with the more affluent, i just hate socialising with the poor.
![]() However i do go to Asda occasionally, but always at odd times like 3AM to avoid the crowds. Online shopping is the way to go...suits my anti-social nature! |

Although I am opposed to the way that Supermarkets control the pricing of produce all over the world, I do use them for convenience.
I should say that I prefer the Co-Op due to their ethical policy, but where I am the Co-Op is fairly poor quality. I like Sainsbury's because they do some nice clothes (sown together by Vietnamese children, for pence per week) and their Fair Trade and Vegetarian ranges are improving. OK, I admit I am evil. I use supermarkets, I will burn in hell ![]() |
