As title really, what is the standard can ground clearance like? Anyone got a pic of a bike 'rit over' with a stock can??
You see, I have put footpeg raisers on so it will give the pegs a bit more, but I am a bit concerned; the can might then hit the ground before the pegs - NOT GOOD!! ![]() ![]() |

Just joined, first post.
Standard exhaust will touch down but not until the pegs have started to fold some way (that is if the 'hero blobs' are still intact). Replaced it for a CCC, no more problems but need to raise the brake lever now! |

Sorry, will pose better next time ![]() Just looked through teh other pics, and theres none with it cranked over that shows it unfortunalty. But looking over the other pics, the litle lump that is sticking downwards between my knee and my foot/ankle (steady on ladies) does appear to be the exhaust. Hope that helps. Phil

Raiser plates - not these exact ones (can’t remember the make of mine of the top of my head) but the same idea ... I have mine on the highest and furthest back position ...

That's my point, if you've raised the pegs the standard can will almost certainly be first to touch down. As long as you don't hit it too hard it might just raise the bike on the suspension a little.
Didn't realize I'd caught it until I checked it later. Be careful on the left as well, the side stand touches down not long after the standard pegs. Keith. |
