Default damm, lesson learn't

I am having a bit of trouble lately, new boots and can't find the gear lever. I went out this morning, back in 5min adjusted it and shoved the spanner under the seat, just got back knowing a little bit more positioning required lifted seat and no spanner, it must have fallen off the waterproofs and down the side/out.

But it is no ordinary spanner. it is my Snap On 10mm combi. Why the feck did I use a decent one. I must have 5 other 10mm spanners, but I always go by instinct to my snap on stuff.

AAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH

Screaming time again. However, I console myself in the knowledge of what could have happened if the spanner had fallen into the chain/brakes etc.
