Hi there chaps.
I have a 2002 SV650S (Blue) 10K miles that I brought for the wife last year. She is only 5'2" and finds it to much of a stretch to the bars. I have tried lowering the bike (seat, dogbones, forks) but she is not happy or enjoying it and isn't getting much use out of it. Now here's my thinking. She did her test on an ER5 and loved it. So I was thinking of swopping or selling the 650s for a naked 650. Same style (sit upright) next to no stretch to bars and should be able to lower it for her. So as a bit of a fishing exercise anybody interested? We live in Yorkshire so up north would be better but open to ideas. The 650S is in fantastic condition and we would be looking for likewise. It has Suzuki fairing lowers and hugger, dark screen and R&G bungs fitted. Other than that it is completley standard and I can easily put it back to the correct height etc. Let me know if interested and we can talk some more. TTFN Derek |

I'd change the wife personally; no V5s/insurance/sh*te to deal with

What about the ER-6F? Still looks good with a nice fairing but is low and upright with a nice bar position. Supposedly very good machines.

What about bar risers? I took my SVS and fitted risers with flat bars and it's a lot less hassle than swapping bikes. If it's just the reach to the bars you can also get Heli-bars that will raise by about 2 inches.

Not sure, I've had braided lines on my bike from when I first got it. The HEL lines were long enough to fit the higher bars but not sure if OE hoses will be long enough.
