Default Undertray Project -friday Afternoon

Well,

i was fed up with all the people who say they couldent see my rear indicators so project remedy commenced.
  1. I had a couple of options/ Do i remove the undertray and get a new one?
  2. add the new indicators on the tail tidy but keep the roca tray indicators as well?
  3. Remove the roca indicators, fill smooth blend in and spray, then fit the new indicators on the tial tidy.
So option 3 is what i went with. Few piccies. Nothing special but Id like to share with you all

bike pre project remedy

Undertray removed

filled in twice. Sanded and polished sander to get a smooth effect

3 coats of paint and finished.

just have the tail tidy to make at work Monday for the indicators then i can fit. Project complete

Managed to belnd in the paint with spray mixed by halfords. Quite a good match also!

Total cost was ?19.46
Any comments?

I used 2. I used a p40 to fill the hole, then a p38 to achieve a smooth finish.

Ok, I've got to ask. Either your camera is a bit weird, or has your SV been resprayed? The blue just doesn't look 'right'. I've thought that every time I've seen a pic of it.

Is it just me?
