Isn't that because you are taking the revs higher? I haven't got mine off yet so don't know. Roll on september

Its getting loads more gas flow above 5k, so yes it will sound louder.

Yeah, but not much so don't get to disappointed! If you want noise then fit an M4 full system!

Restricted definately sounds breathless at high revs though, you will notice.

Im not sure mine sounded louder. It sounded and reacted (to throttle) differently. That might give the appearence of it being louder.
