A dog is truly a man's best friend.

If you don't believe me, just try this experiment.

Put your dog and your wife/girlfriend in the boot of the car for an hour.

When you open the boot, who is really happy to see you??

they're better than kids too. Apparently the authorities get all uppity if you:

a) put a muzzle on a 'dangerous' child that uses it's mouth too much,

b) put a coller and lead on a child when out in town,

c) put them in the kennels when you want a holiday without them,

and d) feed them dog food.

You can't have them neutered either, to cut down on the population of undesirable strays hanging round in packs
