My K5 has a black plastic toolkit box down near the rear shock. I've lost the box's lid somewhere on the way to Brighton
![]() Anyone got a lid spare? Prepared to pay a reasonable amount for one cos I'm fed up stuffing the tools under the seat... ![]() Cheers! Julian |

I would like to meet the gut that thought it would be a good idea to leave the tools that are all you require to part strip the bike in a compartment, that is unlocked. With the tools in the tool kit the front seat can be removed. This means the battery can be removed. With that removed, the rear seat it probably accessible (should be able to hook the mechanism from the front. Really want your bike THAT strippable ? Just leave them under the seat - you could possibly reduce the amount of tooks you carry - after all how often do you need to change a sparkplug ot alter the suspension set up while out on a run ? Also your bar ends.
