Default '07 SV650N Scorpion exhaust

Everyone:

I am new to the board and wanted to share some info. I installed a low mount Scorpion slip-on on my bike yesterday and the install was very easy but if you are not comfortable with these things ( I am a test engineer ) it could be a little daunting to cut into your header. Scorpion instructions do not include any info on where to cut but from other posts on the web I decided on 2 inches and it was perfect.

Hope this info can help someone. BTW - the Brits make an awesome sounding can.

tonyk:

Thanks for the welcome. Since it is raining today I had to settle for blipping the throttle in my garage instead of a tunnel. And you are right about the grin! Near as I can tell the version I got does not have any baffles, naybe US and overseas versions are different?

Appears to be a straight shot from inlet to outlet with nothing but rivets visible.
