Does it need an official dealer stamp? If not then I'd advise a long and worthwhile trip to Nottingham to vist the Spannerman, no personal experience but everyone round here bows down at his spanner wielding. If you need/want an official dealer stamp then I'd advise an even longer trip down to Cirencester to Peter Hammond Motorcycles.
But to be honest you probably want to hang around and wait for a more local recommendation ![]() |

I've just booked mine in at ESB in Bolton, lad who had the bike before used to use them with no worries at all, they even stuck tape over his white LED numberplate light as it shouldn't be showing white to the rear while the MOT'd it and just told him to either sort it or take them out.

+1 for spannerman. I drove there from cambridgeshire and it was well worth it. You're much nearer than me - so its a no brainer really.

thanks for the advice guys, ended taking it to allbikes suzuki in rochdale after a friend of a friend etc.
15000 mls service, m.o.t, and a courtesy bike for the day all for the sum of ?196.00. and book stamped. will go back there in the future. how does that compare, i'm sure you'll let me know. |

If its the 15 service, AFAIK it will need the valve clearances checking - make sure that the quoted price includes this, and be prepared for an increase if they are found to be out of spec - I think its a cams out job, and can cost quite a bit in labour.

Anyone know if there's any particular stamp needed, I'm thinking of having one made up for when I do work for people who're fussed about that.

I have had work done by All Bikes in Rochdale. They are Suzuki dealers. I have never had any cause for complaint.
