Question Hypnotherapy - anyone tried it ?

Am considering going to a hynotherapist and was wondering if anyone had tried one before ?

nope, and i never would.

My moms cousin is a magician who used to do hypnosis in his show. hes good, got his own TV show in South Africa. But he stopped as he relised that he didnt know what he was doing, and that noone actaully knows what they are doing.

They understand that this action causes that responce, but that is is, there is no knowledge of how.

That to me is scary, my brain is too important to be messed with. Why pay someone to mess with it, especially if youve got an expensive lid!

A former work colleague who had recently qualified offered me treatment some years ago.It was to get me off the cigs.I have to say that it worked incredibly well.

+1 my exs Dad used it to stop smoking and it worked really well for him.

(this is not in contradiction to my previous post, I still would not do it)

Well I packed in fags using sheer willpower, I can even go for up to a couple of hours without alcohol hello, my name is Stew Johnstone , Im a chocoholic , s,true Im doing mars bars like they,re going out of fashion, dairy milk as well, anyone used it for anything like that ?

there might not be, but that dosent meen to say that there is none.

It is was such a fool proof thing, and if it was actually understood, dont you think the government would offer it as a treatment for smoking?

I had this debate about diet pills, if they worked, dont you think everyone would use them and there would be no fat people!?
