Default Ouch and damn!

I was riding down a dual carriage way and I was in the fast lane overtaking a lorry when I noticed an object in the road. The object was a F*****G heavy duty spanner! Well, I ran over it, It shot from my tyre as I ran over it to smack off of the lorry to then ricochet and hit my leg. Aye, cheers eh! 70mph of steel! On the bright side the bike is fine, just a tiny scratch on the wheel.

That could have been a bad one if it got in between your wheels or messed up your chain :!

Oh aye, I would much rather of had the physical pain of a spanner on the leg than a repair bill. lol. My first thought was S**t I've burst the tyre but it was actually the sound of the spanner taking flight!

Jeez that's crazy! One of the more painful experiences of my life was driving past a gritting lorry

The high velocity spanner sounds painful! Glad no particular harm came of it, stuff like this is just annoying, have lost count of the bruised fingers from mirrors and stuff!

I was on my way to North Wales the other day just by Chester on the M53 in my van. Next thing I saw a triple extendable ladder across the lanes!

I managed to swerve and avoid it, and so did the lucky sod on a bike not far behind me. That could have been nasty.

Lucky

I once went past an upside down wheelbarrow (wheel still spinning) in the middle lane of the M25
