Default Annual Pilgrimage

The time of year has come around again to plan us southern exiles pilgrimage to Gods country and I was wondering if anybody wanted to have a few days away and join in and as I haven't made any Youth Hostel bookings as yet till I know if anybody else is interested
The average Y.H. price is £15 per night bed only
Agenda as planned at this stage for 25th-30th May[Check Bank HOLIDAY]

Monday26th-----Stirling-Oban,via Green Welly
Tuesday27th----Oban-Inverness,via Great Glen
Wed 28th-------Inverness-Pitlochry,via a Distilery in Grantown
Thursday29th---Pitlochry-New Lanark,via Glasgow

No long days riding as we want to have time to stop and enjoy things and scenery along the way[Any suggestions?]ALL AT YOUR OWN PACE as I will be toodling along at a leisurely pace with stops

Normal day is 10:00am start till 5:00pm park-up,book-in,shower and change, find someplace to eat and have a few beers,so if anybody wants to join in please P.M. me

Mac, I'll have to check my work roster/holidays but if it can be done I will be there. Pretty sure I owe you a beer or two from last years pilgrimage!

Sign up folks, don't miss the chance to see Dicky Ticker's happy, smiling holiday face...

I should be able to manage along at some point in the trip but with it being mid week an overnighter might be a problem but here's hoping

As you no doubt realise this is Bank Holiday week and the Youth Hostels will be busy at the weekend so I would be obliged if anyboby joining for part or all and would like to be included in the booking could let me know before the end of January as I will be making our bookings at the begining of February.
Just to re-cap it will be approx ?15 per night
Thanking you in advance

Mac

N.B. We will be staying in the Stirling Youth Hostel on the Sunday night of the Bank Holiday,so even if you only intended doing the Oban leg on Monday you could join in for a social evening on the Sunday, rideout Monday and then home to your respective locations.---Just a idea

Yes of course. Originally we were all SV riders but some of us have changed bikes for other makes. I don't know if you have met any of the Ecosse contingent but we expect to be joined by one or two in the duration of the rideout. Keep an eye on this post till the end of the month and we will speak again

Cheers Mac
