I am determinded to play for Reading Town (football) next season after the management of my current team falling apart and half the team leaving. We are a few league below Town and I got managers player of the season for my team.
So ive started pre season training in the gym 2 months before Town start theirs. Im working on my strenght and power and also my fitness as I know the main difference between the lower leagues is fitness over raw tallent. Today I ran 5km at 10kmph for the 1st mile then 13, 13, 10, 13kmph for the last 4. Does anyone know how good bad this is? I know its quite a random question and im only just started running at the gym. Thanks for any pointers/tips/words of wisdom/good wishes! ![]() |
