Question Pri#k or not?-one for the ladies

A question for the ladies on ere, I was just preparing tea for the twins (Sausage, chips & beans) and was wondering.................
Am i best to Pr*#k the sausages before cooking them or not?

If the wife uses supermarket ones I always prick those emulsified offal tubes before I cook them. Otherwise the excessive fat builds up and explodes.

Normally I buy decent butcher produced sausages with real meat content
