I know I've got loads of little obsessive habits and sometimes it can get really annoying. However, despite that, I kind of like it. I think it's nicer when things are in some sort of order.
Does anyone else have any OCD tendencies? If so, what are they? Alex |

I am really weird when it comes to locking doors. I end up checking if they are locked loads.

I like all my shirts to be on hangers, and I like all the hanger hooks facing the same way on the rail, ie pointing away from me. It drives me mental when I see hangers all jumbled up. And I like the mugs neatly stacked in the cupboard, in lines, not shoved in any old how.

I think everyone has at least a mild case of O.C.D. My housemate used to be really bad about the washing hands thing. We'd go out and everytime we got to a new place the first thing she'd do was go straight to the loos to wash her hands.
I can be a bit obsessive about cleaning sometimes, but I doubt if it's owt to do with OCD seeing as living with a bunch of students is just asking for trouble in that department. Oh and when I used to stay at a friend's with keys to their place, when I locked up I'd sometimes get halfway down the hill and have to go back to double/triple check I'd done it. But again that was probably because it was someone else's house ![]() There's probably a very fine line between having the actual disorder and just being downright paranoid. |

I think I fall into the downright paranoid area there. Like you said, I am only funny about doors at other peoples places.

Yep.....Obsessional Polishing Disorder...lol. In seriousness, I do have OCD I can't get out of the house without checking stuff for ages, then when I've finally got down the road I go back to check again. I've been sat pillion on the back of Im Indoors and I've made him go back before now. Its worse when I lock up at night, being on my own I get obsessive about me leavin things open.....just in case the bogey man might appear, wouldn't mind but the dogs would be inclined to notice if he did

Used to collect
empty Ciggarette packets - 1 year? empty Nescafe Jars - 2 years? and then Paperclips - 5 years? Not had any collections for a longgggg time now! OCD? I dunno - but useful when directed properly........never really been a big one on giving fancy new names to stuff like "a bit strange" and "a bit thick" ![]() |
