Hi

I bought my K3 off them last year, they seemed like good guys, I think I got diddled slightly on my trade in but that's fair game as I was inexperienced in the art of negotiation, I'll know next time.

The bike was good, well prepped, etc. They always make you feel welcome and stuff.

When I was there there were a couple of bike coppers having a cuppa with them so they must be OK, I can't imagine coppers would put up with idots.

I also bought my first bike from a place in Penwortham, not a franchise or anything but again seemed like good guys, they have a lot more and higher spec bikes in these days too so they must be doing well.

Cheers

I bought my 675 off them this month and they were absolutely fantastic. I dealt with Royce and I've never felt more valued as a customer than I did when dealing with him. He made me feel like a valued human rather than just another customer. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make my buying experience a pleasure. When I first went to inspect the bike in the showroom on my second visit after provisionally agreeing to buy it over the phone (it had been stood in their warehouse when I went there the first time) I noticed that there was a scratch about 2 inches long on the tail section (just a scratch to the lacquer, not through it). I mentioned this to Royce on the phone the next day (he wasn't in on the day I went to inspect it) as I wasn't happy about buying a brand new bike with a scratch on it. He told me not to worry and that it would be sorted to my satisfaction. Well I was a little worried but lo and behold when I went to pick up the bike there wasn't a mark on it, Royce told me they'd had professional scratch repairers in to sort it and that it had cost them £20 which they were going to foot the bill for. Looking at the tail now you would never be able to tell that there was ever a mark there.

It's little things like that that to me make for a pleasureable buying experience. Also things like ringing me during the period between ordering the bike and picking up the bike to keep me informed of progress, taking me around the entire premises (workshop, parts department, etc.) and introducing me to everybody who worked there and then taking pics of me sat on the bike on the day I picked it up all added to the touch. I've had two follow up calls since picking the bike to check that everything is OK.

I wouldn't have any hesitation buying another bike from them and if Triumph are making a model which interests me in a couple of years time when I swap mine then I will definitely be buying from Philip Youles. 10/10 in my eyes.

Give them a try and speak to Royce and tell them Adrian on masterbike 63 sent you! He'll remember me well, in fact I'll be seeing him again on Friday when the 675 goes in for its first service.

If you are a member of the triumph675.net forums PM a guy called big rocky, he also bought his from Youles and he thoroughly recommends them too.
