Who's out to play this weekend (7/8th)

I have sunday free and possibly saturday aswell so will be out on the bike if the weathers good

Anyone care to join me?? Not got a destination yet so all routes welcome..

ME! been ages since i got out for a non essential ride. I think i can do either day. i've not looked at the forecast but it had better be beter than today. My boots leaked on the way in this morning

Not out, no road bike. But if anyone fancies a bit of their own leg work I'll probably head over to swinley forest to do some off road mountain biking....

Almost certainly out at some point, most likely on Sunday as Saturday still looks a bit wet.

I'd default to a FOT, but if anyone has a better route...

I might well be around, need to check weather and funds etc..

Sunday looks best weather wise so I reckon we go for that , details updated on first post and here -

I would love to come on this ride, but I was painfully to a point of embarrassing slow at my last outing with you guys,
And holding you lot up, waiting for me made it clear that I'm not in your league, or even close....

Don't be silly mate, it was only a bit of banter!

The good thing about the FOT ride is that there aren't many turn offs so people can steam ahead if they want and then wait. Not a problem, I don't get pi$$ed off with Ogden shooting off..

I don't think I've ever been on a group ride in the UK where there hasn't been a degree of stopping and waiting - sometimes I'm at the front, sometimes I'm madly playing catch-up, it depends on the group. As Nick says, there aren't many points where stopping and waiting is necessary.

The main reason I had to shoot off ahead on Sunday was because I underestimated the time it'd take to get from Maidenhead to Aylesbury - I estimated half an hour when it should have been an hour - and I knew there was someone waiting at Aylesbury who'd be wondering where the hell I'd got to. I'll know better next time!
