Just ordered a battery for the DRZ from these guys, quick to ship and they leave you to fill and charge it yourself which is good. plus they have an offer on the one you want:

I have just looked at prices from my preferred supplier. Boy they have gone up. as in doubled in a the past 18 months.

Must be the cost of lead. £60. is not bad for a genuine Yuasa one. but expensive for one of unknown providence

Varta batteries came recommended to me by the only mechanics place round here i trust, a quick search would lead me to believe they're generally regarded as equal if not better than yuasa

That's outrageosu, i paid about £40. If you get it mail order you'll haveto go down the shops and get the acid to fill it, just try ringing a few bike shops.

I can get you a Bosch or Lintek acid Battery for around the £46 mark. Any good?

no you won't - the acid comes in a sealed container that you simply place on top of the battery shell, push down to break the seal and allow it to drain into the cells, couldn't be easier
