I love that nearest SM! Those tyres look like they're asking for trouble!

that would be my new toy, more pics in this thread: http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=110462

currently pricing up components to put it through an MSVA and get it road legal, at the moment it's in full race trim, no lights, no clocks, no electrical system, kick-start only, racing slicks and the most offensive exhaust note known to man (makes pete & lissa'a stubby sound like it's purring)

probably not the same bike, 560SMRs go for around 6k brand new, even with a load of tasty bits like ti exhaust and slipper clutch they'd not be that much - for 11k it'll have to be a factory bike, probably a 660 - about 14k new but for that you get a bike that a couple of years back would have been happy to run with the best ridden by world champions.

i almost bought one, this one to be exact:

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/321421.htm

but realised that 30 miles to a tank and the maintenance requirements would start to get annoying after a while

I think Blueto meant the RC8 Long Wolf

Didn't like the RC8 when I saw it, still don't. A stunning engine and package and time will tell on reliability but just can't get past the looks of it.
