Howdy all, pop question time..................
The SV is rated for a ZR17 tyre, which as I understand it is a speed rating. If a correct sized tyre (160\60) was fitted but rated at ZR18 is there any difference to the tyre? Is it a harder compound etc? The test it over, please post your answers to the usual address. Thanks, Phil

You're gonna feel pretty silly when I tell you that the 18 refers to the rim size.

The tyre is ZR17.
Z= speed rating R= radial tyre 17 = wheel diameter in inches. Therefore a ZR18 tyre will not fit on your 17" rims. HTH |
