Default Bagster seat COVERS.

Hello guyz/gals!

Id like to get a bagster seat cover not a complete new seat as i cannot afford it but bagster do some nice seat covers for my 99 SV650S!

How well do these fit ( ie no slipping around and abit of a bodge etc) and how much am i looking at for just the front because i hardly use the rear seat only for when my gf wants to go pillion.

So im just after the front cover as they look really smart.

Thanks

Ash

If i remember correctly it was you who put the link up a while back when some were advertised on ebay which i bid for and won(thank you)as it was for a pointy. The front was already stitched into the scooped out seat, but the rear itself is just a cover, all i can say is it fits snug and does'nt move around at all, hth.

To have the seat done properly by Bagster is around 200 quid, but the covers are a lot cheaper. It depends how good you are at fitting them. We've seen a couple that have looked totally pants because they haven't been fitted correctly, but if you're good at that kind of thing they are a far more affordable option than going for the full seat job.

So do you still take the oem cover off and put the bagster on in its place??
For some reason i thought they literally were a cover and went over the other one lol.
Well my uncle recovers furniture so i shouldnt think that would be a problem.

We've had the full seat job, so not sure about fitting the covers. I would imagine though that you'd have to remove the original seat cover to ensure a good fit.

Offer your uncle a pint to do it for you, he sounds like he'll have the skill

I would go for the full seat but i am nopt in the financial position to so thought id go for the next best thing.

Ive sent them an email and they say you do keep the original cover on and at £60 you cant go wrong and im sure my uncle will make a good job of it lol!
