Some last up to three years, but depends on the insurance company, you'd have to ask yours. HTH

I was asked if I had any no claims from the last 3 years, that was from Bennetts I think

I ran an old XJS for a couple of years on a classic policy. Imagine my delight when i flogged the XJS and went back to a normal motor and 'proper' policy to be told that as i'd not held a real policy in this time my old donkeys years of no claims was now 0. Was given a couple of years back though as a goodwill gesture after a bit of arguing.

Yeah - it can vary according to insurance company but is usually 2 or 3 years.
I've got my car (an MGB) on a classic policy at the moment but am intending to switch to a normal one every couple of years. |

I was told two years by my old car insurance company, then it states it again on the proof they send that they expire after two years.
I have 6 years from when I had a personal car that expire in about 6 months ![]()

Thanks for your help, i was going to ring them just to check, just wondered if there was any set time on them. Insurance companies try and wangle there way out of anything nowadays, it seems they could do the same with my no claims i have! They're only 12months old if that!
