Default Anybody had any experience with these ebay rearsets?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Suzuki-SV650-S...QQcmdZViewItem

Thinking of getting a set, are they any good? And how much do they raise the pegs?

I got a set of plates from Sv Racing Parts on ebay for about 20 quid , but I have mine turned upside down to lower my pegs , did the job nicely and they are well made .

My tightar$ed racer mate bought some from that guy for the ZX10R, they were crap.

Firstly, they were in the same position as standard footrest hangers would put the pegs. Secondly, they didn't work when first fitted, the brake pedal and gear lever were both binding up and had to be modified so they'd even work. Thirdly, once fitted and in use the bolts holding them together kept working loose, no matter how well cleaned and Loctited they were. After every track session I'd have to go over both rearsets and tighten everything up again.

They ended up thrown in the "spares we only use in a dire emergency" box after 2 meetings and we fitted Valter Motos, which were only 20 quid more and have given us no problems at all after fitting up and working right out of the box.

Avoid them like the plague.

you see loads of gsxr ones on ebay so you will get a set of them pretty easy where as sv ones are a bit more rare.
