Oooh...do tell? I can't quite work out how a legal (or illegal) number plate on a bike affects the car you already commute on the bike right? So can't be that?

yep - just had to retain the number plate that I bought when I was young, foolish and vein. So rather than pay £150 for retention paid £80 to transfer it to the bike, if by some miracle I sell the bike it will be another £80 to transfer.

But in the meantime I get to keep £70 in my bank account which with the car issues is well needed......

Clear as mud eh?

Really should have let it go, but something just stopped me.......

and legal number plate, because I can't be doing with being stopped for a small plate. The local dealer or halfords want 27 forms of ID the V5 a passport and iutility bills for your current address going back 90 years.................3 mins on ebay and I'm sorted.
