Default Cheap or free things to do with kids today?

Anyone have any ideas, we had a good day yesterday doing a triathlon, only spending £12.50 on the swimming part, but today I am scratching my head a bit.

One is 3 and the other is 7.......any help greatfully received.

Museums? They sometimes have good interactive stuff these days, for no or little money. Another thing my two used to love was baking- go to the library for recipes, then shop for stuff, etc. Also libraries tend to do story times - don't know if the 7year old would thank you but the younger one might.

Some good ideas there - will see what they fancy, although the 3 year old wants to do the same as yesterday!!!

Get them to spend the morning making/decorating kites and spend the afternoon trying to get them to fly. They will be knackered running up/down the park trying to get them up.

I find nailing my step son to the floor works a treat, although the noise gets a little irritating!

I am about to take him for a long walk out on to Brean down, we were going to go climbing, but it rained a lot.

Head into London and visit the climbing walls, kids love that.

Here are some.

You will find these places scattered about the country and they are well worth a visit.

If any of you are in the Bristol area try this place.
